A massive fire tore through a mansion in Penn Valley overnight, keeping multiple fire companies busy for hours battling the flames in freezing temperatures, officials said. Firefighters were dispatched at 1:22 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, after a caller reported seeing tall flames through the woods near Centennial Road, according to the Belmont Hills Fire Company. By 1:26 a.m., additional callers confirmed a mansion was fully engulfed in flames.
