The much-anticipated construction at Mermaid Park in Blue Bell has commenced. Whitpain Township officials recently announced that construction of the new playground, which has been years in the making, located at 1002 Jolly Road, Blue Bell, is set to start. Construction crews will be building three new “pods,” each offering a variety of sensory, physical and educational experiences for users.
